Astrology is the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial objects as a means for divining information about human affairs and terrestrial events. In the spiritual community a vast number of people study astrology or consult astrologers in order to get a glimpse at their destiny or most probable futures.

There is no denying the truth about how the cosmic vibrations and planetary alignments found at the time of your birth contain relevant information about you as a person and your path on this earth. But does that mean that your destiny is bound to these celestial forces? Is your destiny written in the stars?
Astrology is the study of man’s response to planetary stimuli. The stars have no conscious benevolence or animosity; they merely send forth radiations. These radiations are simply energy, it is us humans that give these energies labels of positive or negative. The guru of Paramahansa Yogananda said that of themselves, these do not help or harm you, but offer a lawful channel for the outward operation of cause-effect equilibriums which each man has set into motion in the past.
Do Not Surrender To The Stars of Your Past
When we are presented with the wisdom of astrology we have a choice. Either we surrender to the forces and influences of the stars OR we use our connection to Source and co-creative powers to transcend or bend these cosmic influences.
The first choice seems to be the most popular one amongst those who are interested in astrology but it comes with a heavy price. When you follow the karmic script that was portrayed by the stars at the time of your birth you are in many ways giving away your personal power and your birthright to continuously and consciously create your destiny.

Adopting this attitude is a form of victimization, one in which you are at the mercy of outside forces and you have little to no control as to what happens in your life. Instead you are surrendering to the choices you made in past lifetimes since these are the choices that led you to incarnate in this particular space/time continuum.
On the other hand the second choice offers you infinite possibilities and the opportunity to re-write your destiny. In this scenario astrology is used as a leverage to determine your most probable future challenges and then consciously change them.

How To Change and Upgrade Your Astrology Chart
Your karmic slate had an enormous influence in your incarnation process. In fact most people choose to re-incarnate in order to absolve, heal and transcend the karma they were unable to resolve up until the moment of their last death.
So if you have incarnated to change our past, then why would you continue to surrender to the influences of your karmic slate? Is the past truly unalterable like Sri Yukteswar says? Yes and no.
In a way the past is done, it happened and the present moment is all that exists. However, the past is encoded in your DNA as karmic imprints. Karmic imprints are reverse codes in the DNA that show you went against Source will at some point in time.
For example, whenever you chose to embrace fear instead of the Law of ONE or to judge someone instead of choosing unconditional love you will have created a karmic imprint. Karma here is not a form of punishment but rather a simple manifestation of the Law of Cause and Effect that serves as a re-minder for you to go align with Source-will for the optimal functioning of your consciousness in this time matrix.
However, karmic imprints are not permanent. You can use your intent and connection to your Higher Self to consciously transmute the karmic imprints encoded in your DNA.
Whenever you energetically disengage the karmic imprints contained in your bio-energetic field you are in some way changing the past because the imprint of that past is no longer a part of you. The result is a download of new cords, new templates and new soul programming from your Higher Self.
Change Your Frequency, Change Your Destiny
As you transmute your karmic slate you are unwinding the frequencies contained in those energetic blockages, the very same frequencies that tied you to your past (its emotions, thought-forms, attitudes) and kept you in a karmic loop.
The more clear you become the more you embody your Higher Self. The more you embody your Higher Self the more you experience your direct connection to Source.
Ultimately you realize that you posses spiritual resources that are not subject to planetary influence.
